7 Days Jomsom and Muktinath Tour

Overview

Our 7 days Jomsom and Muktinath Tour includes a visit to the holy shrine of Muktinath temple in Mustang, an experience of a Thami village homestay, and the local cuisine and culture. The houses in the village are roofed and walled with clay. Walk through the Marpha village – one of the biggest villages of Thakali communities- with its apple garden. Take a hot spring bath in Tatopani on the bank of the Kali Gandaki River. Travel on the three longest-hanging bridges across the Kali Gandaki River and explore Gupteswor cave in Kushma. Take a brief tour of Beni and Pokhara.

Itinerary

Day 1 Kathmandu-Beni

Drive to Kathmandu airport to board an early morning flight to Pokhara. On arrival, you will be met and take a scenic drive to Beni. On arrival in Beni take a brief walking tour of Beni also visit Jaleswor temple as well. Overnight at a hotel in Beni.

Day 2 Beni-Jomsom

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and continue driving toward Jomsom through the Kali Gandaki Valley. Evening, you can enjoy a walking tour of Jomsom on your own. Overnight at a hotel in Jomsom.

Day 3, Jomsom-Muktinath-Thami village

In the morning take a short drive to Muktinath. Take prayer and bath in the temple and travel back to Thame village. Experience the homestay of the Thame village with local cuisine and culture. Overnight in Thame village.

Day 4, Thami village-Tatopani

After breakfast, we continue our journey down through the Kali Gandaki River Gorge. We will pass by Marpha Village and then travel to Tatopani. Overnight at a hotel in Tatopani.

Day 5, Tatopani-Kushma

In the morning take a hot spring bath at Tatopani, after breakfast, we continue our journey to Kushma. Overnight at a hotel in Kushma.

Day 6, Kushma-Pokhara

In the morning, take a brief tour of Kushma crossing the 3 longest and highest hanging bridges over the Kali Gandaki river, and visit Gupteswor cave. Even you can take optional activities such as bungy jumping over the Kali Gandaki river. Later we drive to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, you can enjoy a walking tour of the lakeside on your own.

Day 7, Pokhara-Kathmandu

In the morning take a brief tour of Pokhara and after breakfast drive to the airport to board your flight to Kathmandu.
