Today, immerse yourself in the enchanting city of Kathmandu. Our full-day tour will take you to the iconic Swayambhunath stupa, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Kathmandu Valley. Next, explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can witness the divine presence of the living goddess Kumari and marvel at architectural wonders like Kastamandap and Akash Bhairab. Uncover the many facets of Kathmandu, from its spiritual essence to its rich cultural heritage, making this a day of exploration you won’t want to miss. After lunch at a restaurant in Durbar Square, embark on an unforgettable walking tour of the vibrant local markets of Kathmandu – Indra Chowk and Ason. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere as you browse through a plethora of colorful stalls, offering a variety of goods ranging from spices and textiles to handicrafts and souvenirs. Allow your senses to be captivated by the sights, sounds, and aromas of these bustling markets. In the evening, enjoy the freedom to choose your own dinner spot and savor the flavors of Kathmandu at your leisure.

After breakfast, drive through the picturesque rice paddy fields and charming small towns to reach the captivating Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a brief introduction to this incredible nature reserve. Following a delicious lunch, immerse yourself in the wonders of the jungle with thrilling activities like bird watching and invigorating jungle walks. As the day comes to a close, be enchanted by a mesmerizing folk dance show performed by the talented Tharu community.

Early in the morning, we’ll head to the Rapti river bank for an exciting canoe trip, where you can spot an array of exotic birds, crocodiles, and graceful cranes. Afterward, we’ll embark on a captivating jungle walk before returning to the lodge. Once back, indulge in a delicious breakfast to fuel up for an adventurous day ahead in Chitwan National Park. In the afternoon, hop on a thrilling jeep safari through the dense wilderness of Chitwan National Park. Get up close and personal with magnificent creatures like the one-horned rhinos, deer herds, playful monkeys, and a variety of vibrant birds, including the majestic peacock. Don’t miss this chance to explore the wild side of Chitwan and witness its incredible biodiversity firsthand.

We drive to Pokhara- a beautiful city with lakes and breathtaking views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Relax and walk around the lake, perhaps renting a boat to enjoy the scenery. There are many restaurants and shops to choose from here and the setting on the lake is exquisite.

This morning we say goodbye to Pokhara and it’s a short scenic drive to Lumle. You will meet people from Kalsee Eco-lodge in Lumle and start your day with a short hike up to the lodge (about 1.5 hours). The lodge is located in the middle forest – secluded and peaceful. After lunch, you can relax and take in the breathtaking views, walk to enjoy nature, or venture to a nearby local temple. In the evening we will enjoy a campfire, dinner (included), and star gazing! Sunrise again offers stunning views of Mt. Fishtail and the Annapurna range.

Early in the morning, we have a short hike to an incredible viewpoint – where you will see the Himalayas on one side and Pokhara Valley on the other. There’s plenty of time for taking pictures and enjoying the scenery and flora. We return to the lodge for breakfast and then proceed through the forest to an Australian camp, continuing our descent to Kande. From there we travel back to Pokhara, arriving in time to enjoy lunch at one of the finest restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake. The rest of the day you are on your own to relax, shop, or wander around the lake and town.

After breakfast, we will take a boat trip on Fewa Lake and have a brief tour of Pokhara, followed by a visit to Devid’s fall as well as a visit to a Tibetan refugees camp – where you can buy hand-loomed carpets and other crafts to help support the refugees. After lunch, we go to Pokhara airport for the short scenic flight to Kathmandu (25 minutes). On arrival, you will be transferred to a fine guest house in Bhaktapur.

In the morning enjoy a walking tour of Bhaktapur on your own to observe the life of local people. You can roam around the streets of Bhaktapur, capturing the culture and daily life. After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and take a tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola, Dattatraya Squares, Potters Square, etc. Bhaktapur is famous for yogurt and your guide will take you to taste locally produced yogurt (if you like). Later we drive to Patan for lunch at one of the local restaurants to enjoy Nepalese cuisine. Touring Patan, we visit Durbar Square, the Patan Museum, and the temple of Krishna (one of the best examples of stone sculpture). We will also visit the Golden Temple (Mahaboudha temple). In the evening you will enjoy a final get-together with your tour director followed by a farewell dinner and a folk dance show. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, your 10-day Nepal Trip concludes after breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport for your homebound flight. Sad to say goodbye to an incredible experience in Nepal!
